The Lariat Staff

The Brudevolds are very proud of their talented, hard-working staff. These employees go above and beyond to make The Lariat run smoothly, and they all get along while doing so. The kitchen staff consists of three cooks and a baker; the latter also helps with the cooking and catering when needed. Part-time high school students are employed for prep work and dishwashing.

There are six waitresses in the restaurant, and they also bus tables, vaccum and clean up. The bar staff consists of six regular employees, complimented by several local residents who are willing to work on busy nights.

Lori treats her employees well and has earned their loyality and respect, so there is not a big turnover at The Lariat. She offers incentives and regular fun “contests” that promote products or services. Ambitious employees are rewarded with prizes such as movie passes, gas cards or a paid day off.

“We have very few problems with our personnel,” Lori says. “I’m proud to have them working with me.”

Because of this positive work environment, job-seekers regularly submit applications, which are kept on file in the office.
