Lariat Lounge

Lariat Lounge

The Layout

LoungeA very open, inviting space with vaulted ceilings, the lounge can hold 150 people. The burgandy carpeting was installed in 2000, while the large dance floor is uncarpeted. The wainscoting is a log-cabin wood while the upper walls are painted with a faux technique in shades of cream and camel.

You can enter the bar from the west outside entrance or through the restaurant using the south entrance. The dining room and lounge are separated by a beautiful brick fireplace.

Behind the barThe bar itself is a long L-shaped affair backed by mirrors, shelves and coolers. A dry bar off the side of the dance floor is a favorite gathering place when there is live entertainment, which uses a stage in the southwest corner of the lounge.

A large back-to-back walk-in cooler serves the bar and restaurant. A new compressor was installed in 2004.

There are two pool tables, an electronic dart board, video game and juke box, all rental. A new 22-foot shuffle board table is the property of the bar.

Other Rooms

There is a small office just off the bar area. A mechanical room with the furnace, ice machine, etc., is situated between the kitchen and bar areas. there is also a shower facility for employees and truckers.
